Paper Trimmer Knives - Paper Cutter Knives, Cutter Knives, Trimmer Knives

Our Paper Cutter Knives are manufactured from the highest quality alloys to close tolerance quality control standards. Paper Cutter knives are available as upper and lower trimmer knives and guillotine cutter knives, in many different alloy grades to suit your individual cutting application. All paper cutter knives are precisely heat-treated to assure consistently uniform hardness throughout. We offer the following paper cutter knife material grades to cover all possible paper cutting applications and budgets:

Tool Steel Inlay - With modern forging processes, a hardened tool steel inlay is bonded to a tough backing steel. Special heat treat furnaces ensure a good microstructure and balance of hardness and toughness.

High carbon high chrome - Especially popular for 3 knife trimmer bottom knives, these knives feature deep, through and consistent hardness.

High Speed Steel - An 18% tungsten high speed steel inlay provides a smooth, keen and durable cutting edge that is more abrasion resistant than tool steel knives. Expect 3 to 5 times longer life than tool steel inlay knives.

Carbide Inlay - These carbide inlay knives are sub-micron carbide grain. Not all carbide knives are the same. With these carbide knives a wear life of 25 times that of high speed steel and 2 times that of standard carbide grades are not uncommon.
