turn-around, typically less than one week. For slitters, super finishing provides for the sharpest and longest lasting edge possible. Lasting up to 5 times longer than slitters not super honed can have a dramatic affect in your operational up time. This high polish finish reduces friction as the web passes through the blades, improving cut quality, reducing the number of setups, reducing downtime and reducing your regrind expenses. “Super finishing” is an additional step to a conventional grinding process and is included in our pricing.
